Upcoming: Lock In 2/28/09

Hello everyone! This year's Lock In is coming up fast. It will be held February 28th starting at 6:30pm and lasting until 8am on Sunday. Please bring $10 for food and everything you might need to spend the night in the church (air mattress, sleeping bag, pillow, blankets, slippers, toiletries, etc.). Also feel free to bring movies and video games/systems to share with the group.

This will be a great opportunity to get to know your fellow youth group members even better. It will also be a great opportunity to build our team spirit as we prepare for the amazing work we will be doing on this summers mission trip to DC, (Aug 2nd-7th).

If you need to arrive late or leave early please feel free, just let Sarah Hile know in advance if possible. I know that everyone has crazy schedules, and I look forward to seeing you all at this fun and food filled event!

Fund Raisers

The concert February 7th raised $600! Thank you so much to everyone involved, especially our organizer Natasha! This event and our recent Super Bowl Sub sale raised a combined $1450 for our mission trip to Washington DC this summer(Aug 2nd - 7th).

Looking Ahead:
We are looking ahead to our big Silent Auction March 22nd, 2009. Please continue to collect gift cards and other donations of items for the auction and give them to Sarah Hile or Eileen McHenry as you collect them. We will be creating a preview board on our senior high bulletin board near fellowship hall at church so that people can see what will be available at the auction. Please contact me if you have any questions.
