Message from Deb:
I am truly grateful to all of you who participated in our Care Package Drive to support our Troops. The items you purchased, the hours you worked at the Drive, and your generous checks for postage and product made shipping almost 400 boxes possible. In spite of these tough times together we touched about 30,000 troops, making their holidays away from home a bit brighter. Your generosity is absolutely overwhelming and means so much to me! The stories from our Drive that I share with Courtney amaze and humble her.
For those of you who coordinated your children, their friends and your students to make cards and bring items, please pass this on to them with my thanks. They truly made a difference.
Malcolm Muggeridge once said, "Every happening, great or small, is a parable whereby God speaks to us, and the art of life is to get the message." You all got the message! Thank you for touching the lives of our troops.
Proud Army Mom!

Adopt a Soldier Community Service
Hello Parent and Teens:
The senior high has been asked to help out with the soldier donation project again this year. I have a list of all the items the soldiers need/want. If you would like to help, I was hoping we could each get one item from the list. I have pasted the requests below. On Oct 12th we will be filling boxes in the Parlor and making cards to send with them, and on the 19th we will be meeting at the Southborough Senior Center with the 5th and 6th grade youth group to help package boxes during church. On the 19th please drop off your teens there and pick them up there after church.
This is a change to our original schedule which said Parlor meeting on the 19th. This is a great opportunity for community service hours!
If you have any questions please let me know!
Here is the list of needed items, there are duplicates on the lists as they are from 3 different people. Once again if you would like to help out just get one of the items off the list and bring it to church on the 5th or the 12th of Oct.
